This person will be the day-to-day lead on account management for our client roster. The role will work alongside the rest of the Laboratory team and report to the Creative Director to further define and create new strategies across all of Laboratory’s clients. The Brand Manager is motivated by problem-solving, is a great storyteller, presenter, and has an analytical mindset.
Skills and Qualifications
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent professional qualification
✔️ 3+ years of experience in managing client accounts in an agency or consulting setting
✔️ Superb project management skills
✔️ Experienced in client communications
✔️ Motivated by creative, multidisciplinary problem-solving
✔️ Background knowledge and proficiency in graphic design and copywriting
✔️ Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
✔️ Proficiency in Google Adwords and FB Advertising
✔️ Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
✔️ Excellent communication skills with external clients and vendors
✔️ Proficient knowledge in website platforms: Shopify, Squarespace and WordPress
This person will be an effective hands-on leader who will be able to help define the creative strategy and implement it across all channels leading the day-to-day creative for our client roster. This role will manage a team of designers and work closely with each team member in order to execute all marketing initiatives and collateral that delivers on brand positioning for our clients.

The role will work alongside the rest of the marketing team to further define Laboratory’s content strategy and create exciting new content across all of Laboratory’s client channels, all while maintaining and strategically evolving Laboratory’s vision. This will include branding campaigns, editorial, marketing and advertising initiatives such as email and digital paid ads, web copy, social media, and other creative writing projects. The ideal candidate has experience crafting and evolving a unique brand voice, is deeply creative, and is passionate about storytelling.
Skills and Qualifications
✔️ 2+ years of copywriting or journalistic experience in media, with experience in e-commerce and digital media.
✔️ Bachelor’s degree, academic experience in English, Journalism, Communications, or Advertising is a strong preference.
✔️ Exceptional grammar, writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
✔️ A comprehensive understanding of the appropriate tone of voice to adapt to each unique application.
✔️ Experience or interest in the following industries: Finance, Beauty, Wellness, Design, Cannabis, Fashion is a plus.
✔️ Working knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
✔️ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
This person will be the day-to-day lead on graphic design and front-end website designs for our client roster. The role will work alongside the Creative Director, Art Director, and Brand Managers. As our Graphic Designer, we are looking for someone who is highly creative, willing to push the boundaries, and is motivated by problem-solving.
Skills and Qualifications
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UX design or similar programs
✔️ 5+ years of experience in graphic design in an agency setting
✔️ Excellent time management and project management skills
✔️ Proficient knowledge in website platforms: Shopify, Squarespace and Wordpress
✔️ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔️ Photography and 3D animation skills are an asset
